When: April 20-22, 2021
Where: Virtual – but this will not be your ordinary virtual meeting – we have an exciting and engaging Summit planned for you!  Link will be provided closer to the meeting.

Physicians may be eligible for CMEs, scroll to bottom of the page for more info!  While parts of the Summit may be available to watch at a later date you can only claim CME if you attend the “live” event.

  • Session 1: Provider Focus Group –We invite Reach Out and Read providers to candidly share their needs to integrate and enhance ROR with families from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds and with children who have diverse medical needs. We also seek to learn if the online learning community on the Pathwright platform is an effective tool to support the integration of ROR.  Dr. Meredith Eicken
  • Session 2: Bridging Conversations –Learn how Reach Out and Read books are used as a tool to engage in meaningful conversations with patients and their families, and enhance the provider-patient/family dyad. Dr. Martha Edwards, Dr. Henry Lemon, Cheryl Platt, NP, Dr. Shawna McCafferty
  • Session 3: Small Moments Big Impact : Promoting Relationships and Resilience – In this session, we will explore together the Small Moments, Big Impact applications and its use in the medical home to support mothers in the early months in development in between checkups.
