At Reach Out and Read, we believe all families should have the tools and information they need to make reading aloud together a daily routine.

We know shared reading can help develop strong parent-child bonds that last a lifetime, buffering toxic stress and building resiliency.  Literacy is a critical skill and early childhood is the critical time for equipping children for a lifetime of success.

We are part of Reach Out and Read, a national network that includes a National Center, 28 regional or statewide affiliates, and more than 5,800 program sites.
